Cel-F Solar Systems Limited
Ecolution began as Cel-F Solar Systems Limited renewable technology installation subcontractors operating within the commercial and domestic markets. We installed everything from solar PV, solar hot water, heat pumps, wind turbines, ventilation and heat recovery system within the South East. Starting as a small company, we had just 5 members of staff based in our very first office in Kemsing with only 3 vans of engineers out on the road completing the installations.1999
Launch of the Ecolution Brand
As our business continued to grow we decided to rebrand and reinvent the company as we started our journey into new markets and larger prospects, Cel-F Solar Systems Limited soon became the well-known Ecolution brand. Our business model remained the installation of renewable systems however as our business continued to grow we started to target larger scale projects including the new build industry. We expanded our services nationwide, in order to keep up with the increasing number of projects each month our team also grew to 15 office staff and 5 vans of engineers.2004
Joint venture with HaWi UK
Our distribution business began when entering into a joint venture with HaWi UK, German based solar photovoltaic distributors. They were seeking to move into the UK market so it made sense to partner with a leading UK solar installation company like Ecolution due to our knowledge and experience within the market. As the company diversified into different aspects of the renewable market we dramatically increased our customer base as we were now selling to other renewable installation companies across the UK.2011
New offices; Ecolution House
As our company diversified we soon outgrew our East Park office and moved into our current head office based in West Malling, Kent. Ecolution House is a great location for us providing larger office spaces and warehousing for both our installation and distribution companies. Being a renewable energy based company it is our aim to ensure that we operate in a sustainable manner which is why when first moving into our brand new offices we installed a 10 kWp solar photovoltaic system which not only helps reduce our businesses running costs but most importantly helping us offset C0₂ each year.2011
The launch of Ecolution Products
After initially partnering with HaWi UK to start up our venture into renewable distribution we decided it was time to continue this journey on our own which is when Ecolution Products was born. We launched a brand new website complete with an integrated solar PV design tool.2012
Expanding our warehousing2013
The launch of Ecolution Energy Services
After the success of our distribution company we became hungry to further expand the Ecolution Group, we quickly identified that there was a gap in the market for renewable technology maintenance, hence, Ecolution Energy Services was born. It was apparent that many customers with renewable systems were unaware or unsure of how to go about registering them for government incentives which is why as part of an additional service our team have been helping users with their Feed-In Tariff (FIT) payments.2013
Growing our green fleet
As part of our sustainability policies, Ecolution is always striving towards a zero carbon future which is why we have continued to grow our green fleet of cars, helping us to reduce our employee’s carbon emissions each day on the road.2014
The launch of Ecolution Electrical
Since 1999, Ecolution have provided electrical contracting as part of our package when tendering for renewable installations. However, due to the ever increasing demand we strategically choose to branch off this area of the company to launch our Ecolution Electrical. We now have a dedicated team of specialists focusing on the high quality electrical contracting allowing us to not only increase the value of contracts we can now look after but also improve our quality of service.2015
Named one of the 100 faces of a vibrant economy by Grant Thornton
Ecolution were selected as one of the 100 faces of a Vibrant Economy for our role in shaping a more purposeful, innovative and socially responsible business environment. For us, a vibrant economy is about businesses that grow fast, invest in the future talent and make a difference.2016
Additional Offices - Ecolution Barn
Check out our shiny new offices with an outstanding view of the countryside. As our Group expanded we soon outgrew our main office, we quickly renovated a unit next door to our second warehouse Ecolution Barn. This tactical move gave us additional space to further expand and also meant we could keep all our in-house workforce within just a 5-minute drive of one another.2016
New Fleet Of Vans
At Ecolution A-class service takes priority and as we continue to grow and expand we aim to ensure that we remain at the forefront of providing the highest quality of service available. To ensure we are able to present our customers with the best of everything, including our fleet of vans, we are proud to announce we have just signed another contract for more new vehicles in 2018 to further expand our fleet!
The new vehicles are supplied by Renault, which is a partnership we have valued for many years and are proud to be working with them once again. This continued partnership will aim to improve efficiency, productivity and sustainability in all services provided by Ecolution with the help of Renault2017

Certified installers ensuring high standard solar panel installations.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is a nationally recognised quality assurance scheme. It certifies microgeneration techniques used to produce heat and electricity from renewable sources. Those certified have passed the competency test that demonstrates they provide a quality of goods and that the customer is protected against a miss-selling or misleading sales techniques. Without an MCS accreditation, your solar panels wouldn’t be able to claim from the feeding tariff.
