3.25kW Solar PV systems installed 4 luxury homes in Smallfield, Surrey.

Ecolution were awarded both the electrical and solar photovoltaic contracts for 4 luxury designer houses at Gonville situated in a small secluded cul-de-sac in semi-rural Smallfield, Surrey.

Ecolution were therefore pleased to have been awarded both the electrical and PV contracts for this exclusive development consisting of 2 four bedroom and 2 three bedroom private luxury homes. Being awarded both contracts not only ensured smooth co-ordination on and off site, but also a cost-effective option having one trusted contractor to handle it all.

Our dedicated in-house electrical contracting team worked closely with the developers from initial site surveying through to the design, supply and installation of both the internal and external electrics. We supplied a complete electrical package for both 1st and 2nd fix through to the final testing and commissioning for this specialist project. We installed downlights throughout and ensured that all of the electrics were of a high specification and finish to ensure quality was consistent.
With quality and aesthetics in mind, we designed and installed elegant systems totalling of 3.25kW across all 4 plots. We used 250W monocrystalline panels on an in-roof mounting system to ensure the panels sat flush with the roof tiles.

By integrating solar PV into these new build private houses meant the builder was able to meet the codes for sustainable homes with an easy and cost-effective solution but also the end user can benefit from reduced energy bills for years to come with minimal maintenance required.

The solar photovoltaic systems at Gonville are now collectively producing 2,912kWh of free electricity and offsetting approximately 1,540.45kg of C0₂ per annum.
