3.75 kWp Solar PV systems installed across an exciting luxury development situated in Southfleet.

Ecolution installed a total of 22.5 kWp of solar photovoltaic across an exciting luxury development situated in the tranquil, picturesque village in Southfleet, Kent.

The development consisted of 32 houses, comprising of terraced, semi-detached and detached homes including the conversion of an Oast House in to a pair of semi-detached homes. These unique, designer homes back onto open fields, offering an idyllic setting of a laid-back village lifestyle.

These high end, new build homes demonstrate that properties can incorporate environmentally friendly features with¬out compromising of the aesthetics of the properties. These homes effortlessly integrate a traditional exterior design with modern renewable technologies like solar PV.

Ecolution won the contract at The Vale, were we designed, supplied and installed all of the solar PV requirements for the new build homes. We designed a variety of 1kW and 0.5kW systems for the various roof types using a range of high quality products to best suit each type of building. Throughout we used 250W polycrystalline solar photovoltaic panels mounted on an in-roof framing system allowing the panels to blend and sit flush with the roof tiles.

The solar PV systems are not only helping this residential community reduce their carbon footprint and tackle climate change, it is also an affordable home for the future. The solar PV means residents are able to use the free electricity generated during day light hours which in turn reduces their energy bills for years to come.

The solar photovoltaic systems at The Vale are now producing collectively 20,160 kWh of free electricity per year and have C0₂ savings of 10,664.64 kg per annum, for the residents.
