Climate change is a big challenge for the planet, and requires action at a large scale by all levels of government and business, but there are many things that you can do to reduce your energy consumption and promote smart energy choices in your community. This includes maintaining your technologies to make sure they are running as efficiently as they should to cut down on your carbon footprint.

Maintaining your systems allows you to have peace of mind that your technologies are working as they should to potentially save money and keep your property safe.

As countries drive forward their ambition towards green growth, the implementation of maintenance care for your renewable systems can be a huge factor in driving forward to clean energy.

Bad servicing and improper maintenance is the most common reason why renewable systems do not last. Regular maintenance will not only extend your technologies lifetime but it will also maximise generation and energy efficiency. For this reason, we provide renewable technology planned maintenance including annual servicing, reactive call-outs and repairs for all renewable energy systems.

Why you shouldn’t skip system maintenance

All renewable technologies require some level of maintenance. You don’t want to wait until your unit breaks down before scheduling a tune-up. The longer you delay maintenance, the more damage and repair costs you will ultimately have to deal with.

Cut energy bills. If your unit needs a major repair, it might be consuming higher levels of energy than normal. Preventative maintenance helps ensure that your air source heat pump or solar PV runs at peak efficiency, helping you avoid outrageous utility bills.

Extend system life.  Regular maintenance can extend the life of your renewable technology to 20 years or more. It also prevents future breakdowns and costly replacements.

Stay covered under warranty. Planned maintenance inspections keep your unit compliant with RHI requirements. In addition, most manufacturers require routine maintenance to validate the warranty.

Reduce repair costs. Over time, dust and debris can accumulate in your unit and affect moving parts, resulting in costly breakdowns. Preventative maintenance helps identify and resolve minor issues before they turn into more expensive repairs. In addition, some of the components that make up your equipment are fairly expensive, so investing in annual maintenance can save you from exorbitant repair and replacement fees.

Avoid the last-minute rush. Don’t wait until the first official day of winter or summer to have your system inspected. Booking earlier offers more scheduling flexibility and assurance that your system will be checked on time.

Improve comfort. System breakdowns result in inconsistent output and reduced comfort. Imagine not having enough hot water in the winter due to a defective boiler. Avoid the inconvenience by keeping your renewable technology regularly checked by professionals.

How often should you schedule maintenance?

Majority of renewable energy systems require professional maintenance at least once a year. However, more frequent inspections may be required depending on the unit’s type, age, size, and usage levels. Our certified engineers and technicians will help determine the amount of maintenance appropriate for your system.

An unexpected rise in your energy bills may also be a sign that your system isn’t functioning as well as it should and may need servicing.

During maintenance, our team will assess the integrity of all mechanical and electrical connections. Loose or corroded connections can compromise system performance and even create potential safety hazards.

Neglecting routine maintenance can result in expensive repairs in the long run. At Ecolution, we offer maintenance packages that will not only reduce unexpected breakdowns, but also maximise energy generation, ensure fuel savings and improve system performance.

Why should you choose Ecolution for your Maintenance Services?

It is essential to maintain renewable and energy efficient technologies annually to maintain warranties, to protect the system from breakdown, and fight against climate change. A serviced and correctly maintained renewable technology can save thousands of pounds off your gas/electric bills by extending the lifespan of the system.

Planned Maintenance Renewal

Planned Maintenance Renewal

For a long time know our maintenance division have serviced and maintained renewable systems for our private clients as well as landlords and tenants.

However, many private residents are unaware that renewable systems need to be regularly serviced, the same as a car or boiler. Renewable Systems need the same care and attention as any other technologies to make sure they last longer and are running as they should be. Some of our technologies are also required by law to be serviced annually, such as Unvented Cylinders.
